What makes me tick...

I have always had a passion for visual arts, be it photography, film, theatre or, as you may have guessed, painting and sketching. This passion has moulded me in many ways but so have my other interests...

I have been an active racing sailor since childhood and have competed globally in yacht regattas in some of the most competitive classes and events.

I first raced dinghies at school and when I left at the age of 18 I wanted to continue learning and aspired to compete in the Admiral's Cup & America's Cup. I didn't make it that far but met many who did and even now, in my 40's I continue to race as regularly as I can.

The sport has given me opportunities to travel, meet incredibly interesting people, understand teamwork and develop all manner of skills.

Aside from sailing I also enjoy fly-fishing, photography, skiing (actually,  I'm really  addicted to it!), shooting (when and if time allows for any of them) but most of all I love being with my family who are the centre of my being. They are loving, supportive and I know that I am incredibly privileged to have them in my life.
